Cairn is a family-run candlemaker based in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.
What began simply as a love of fragrance and candle making has grown, little by little, into the business we have today.
We make candles and diffusers in our workshop in Grantown-on-Spey in small batches, by hand,
The landscape around us has always been part of Cairn. The Cairngorms and our community inspire our craft – not only in the names on our fragrances, but in an approach that values authenticity and quality.
As Cairn has grown, we’ve kept that sense of place at the heart of everything we do.

Sustainable, Traditional Candlemaking
We craft each and every candle that leaves our workshop with the same love and attention, and are committed to delivering a fragrance experience, every time.
Carefully selected fragrance and essential oils create our distinctive scents, while cotton wicks provide a clean, even burn.
Soy Wax
All products are cruelty-free.
100% Plastic-Free
We also reuse packaging from our suppliers and encourage reuse and removal of plastics in our supply chain.
Tree Planting
We plant a tree in Sub-Saharan Africa for every product sold through our partnership with Trees For The Future.
